A celebrated novelist, screenwriter and journalist, Sayed Kashua is also the creator of the hit Israeli TV series "Arab Labor" (Avoda Aravit), a sitcom based on his weekly column in the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz. One of the top-ten most popular shows on Israeli TV, "Arab Labor” is the first Israeli sitcom to feature an Israeli Arab protagonist.
